Chrisso today
Today, Chrisso is a traditional and strictly preserved village, with restored houses surrounded by gardens and several buildings of neoclassical style, which indicates the older prosperity of the inhabitants resulting from the commerce of olive products. It has traditional taverns and two squares.
The main square in the heart of the village is characterized by the centuries-old platanus trees and the drinking fountain. It has many traditional, stone churches like the small church of Agios Georgios, surrounded by the ancient walls of Krissa.
The majority of the villagers are farmers and specialize in the cultivation of olive trees and their by-products.
