ETHNOLOGICAL AND FOLKLORE MUSEUM OF CHRISSO

The History of the Museum

The collection of the Ethnological and Folklore Museum of Chrisso is the result of the unceasing and persistent effort of the last fifty years of the collector
Mr. Elias Daradimou and continues to this day to be enriched with all kinds of valuable, interesting, rare and remarkable object of our popular cultural heritage.

When the collection reached a level that could be exhibited, it was donated by the collector to the Municipality of Delphi on the condition that it be housed and permanently exhibited in the neoclassical school of Chrisso, a building of special historical importance.
